Bimatoprost 0.03 % Ophthalmic Solution

Bimatoprost is the active ingredient in both Lumigan and Latisse. Lumigan is the brand name for bimatoprost ophthalmic solution used to treat glaucoma, while Latisse is the brand name for the same bimatoprost solution approved for cosmetic use to make eyelashes longer and thicker. The main difference is that Lumigan is used to lower pressure in the eye, while Latisse is a specific cosmetic formulation for eyelash growth.
