Adapalene 0.1% Gel is a topical retinoid indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years of age and older.
It contains adapalene, a third-generation synthetic retinoid that modulates cellular differentiation, keratinization, and inflammatory processes involved in acne. It helps normalize the differentiation of follicular epithelial cells, which reduces microcomedone formation, unclogs pores, and decreases both non-inflammatory (blackheads/whiteheads) and inflammatory lesions.
