The 553KL Health-o-meter Digital Pediatric Scale is a highly accurate and secure baby scale, designed to capture the weight of the most active newborns, infants, and toddlers. Powered by batteries (included) or an AC adaptor (sold separately), this scale is easy to use anywhere. It has an easy one-button operation with several convenient functions, ensuring a quick and accurate weighing session for all your infant patients. It’s easy to clean weighing surface well suited for any sterile environment.
Safe and Accurate Weighing: This baby scale has the Motion Sensing weighing technology that locks in the weight to ensure an accurate reading despite any movement of the baby. The extra-large and sturdy weighing tray has raised sides to accommodate sitting and reclining baby ensuring baby’s safety and comfort. It can easily accommodate babies of all sizes, has a weighing capacity of 44 lbs / 20 kg and a resolution of 0.5 oz / 10 g. It includes a built-in measuring tape of up to 24″.
Multi-Functional: Some of the functions of this scale are the LB/ KG conversion and Lock Out, Zero Out, Tare, Hold/Release, Auto Zero, Auto Off, as well as a low battery indicator. With a built-in measuring tape, the height and weight can be measured simultaneously. Results are displayed on the easy-to-read and waterproof 1″ LCD screen. The 553KL Scale is also compatible with EMR/EHR systems via USB.
